Props, Clothing and Accessories
It's a good idea for parents to do a little research on the web before coming into the studios. For hygiene reasons, and for the sake of originality, we ask you to bring in your own selection of props, wraps and clothing. Think of toys, books with humerous titles, bobbley colourful hats etc. Newborn babies are best photographed naked, or adorned with simple props such as knitted hats, bows or tiny tutus.
When to come into the studio
The best time to come in for a newborn session is in the first two weeks of life. The pictures taken during the newborn session can be used to make a stunning birth announcement.
Mums and dads can join in too
Parents should be prepared to join in the photo shoot with baby.
Prior consideration of what you are going to wear and what poses you see yourself doing is important.
